    Course registration: Maximum 9 credits for a semester
    Doctoral degree program (students who admitted before 2010 Spring) : 60 credits
    - It's including Master's credits recognized by the board of department.
    There is NO credit for the Korean Language courses(Beginner/Intermediate Level).
    Designated course
    1) Students whose previous major is different from the present one have assigned some designated subjects
        when they got admission.
        (Master's : Max. 3 subjects, Doctoral & Integrated : Max. 5 subjects)
    2) Credits of the designated subjects are not included the total credits for graduation, but they will affect
        the cumulative G.P.A.
    Comprehensive Exam
    • Application for comprehensive exam
      • Who can apply :
        • Master's Program : Students who achieved more than 12 credits.
          (C.G.P.A. should be more than 3.0)
        • Doctoral Program : Students who achieved more than 18 credits.
          (C.G.P.A. should be more than 3.0)
        • Integrated :
          1) (Master's Program) Students who achieved more than 12 credits.
              (C.G.P.A. should be more than 3.0)
          2) (Doctoral Program) Students who achieved more than 42 credits.
              (C.G.P.A. should be more than 3.0)
      • When can apply : At the beginning of each semester (March/September)

      • How to apply : Log in the INHA portal → INS(학사행정) → Courses(Graudate) → Apply for the Major competence test
      • Comprehensive exam
        • Examination Period : Twice a year (March and September)
          • Contact your department office for the specific date.
        • Each program department determines the format and content of the exam.
        Korean Language Course
        • One of three is mandatory (before those who admitted before 2015-Spring)
          • Students must pass the intermediate level of Korean language course during their degree program at Inha University.
          • Students must submit the original certificate of TOPIK. (More than level 3)
          • Students must achieve more than 80 points out of 100 on the Korean language placement test by INHA Graduate School in the first week of each semester.
        • Those who admitted after 2015-Spring(Including 2015-Spring) should meet requirement below
          • Students who applied by submitting TOPIK Level (the department which the TOPIK was mandatory) : They don't have to take Korean Language Course but must submit TOPIK 4th or higher level for graduation.
          • tudents who allowed to admit by submitting English score instead : They must pass the intermediate level of Korean Language course or submit the original certificate of TOPIK 3th or higher level for graduation.
          • No credit is given to the Korean Language Courses (Pass/Fail)
          Dissertation (Thesis)
          • All students must submit their thesis plan in the end of the third semester.
          • Application
            • 1) Who can apply : Students completed successfully all the course work, comprehensive exams, and the Korean language course of intermediate level.
            • 2) When can apply : At the early of April/October in their last semester
              • - Check the Academic calendar
            • 3) How to apply : Log in the INHA portal → INS(학사행정) → Graduation(Graduate) → Apply for Thesis Examination (for Students)
              • - Students must pay a certain amount of money for the thesis evaluation and submit all necessary documents to the graduate school office in person after completing the online application.
          • Students in Master's program must make a presentation on the contents of thesis. (Check your department for rules & regulations in details.)
          • Students in Doctoral program must submit a publications of 2 theses on the domestic journal or 1 thesis on the international journal. (Check your department for rules & regulations in details.)
          • Final submission : In the early of July/January in their last semester
            • 1) The copy of the first page of the thesis (The title must be shown.)
            • 2) 1 soft-bound copy of thesis (an original one signed by thesis’s examiners)
            • 3) Survey about the thesis
            • 4) Survey about the job
            • 5) Confirmation certificate of up-loading the thesis on the homepage of Jungseok Memorial library
            • 6) Author permission agreement from the homepage of Jungseok Memorial library
            • 7) A result paper of CopyKiller Program (plagiarism checking program)
