Application for Admission
  • Application Period
    • Admission for Spring semester(March~June) : From mid ~ late October in previous year
    • Admission for Fall semester(September~December) : From mid ~ late April in pertinent year
    Please refer to 'Admission Process' for information about Specific application period of semester
    All application document must arrive at the Graduate School Office until the last day of the application period.
  • How to apply for admission
    • On-line Application
      • ① Click 'Online Application' during the designated application period
      • ② Click 'registration' button in the upper right corner after filling out all of the blanks.
      • ③ Print the application form by clicking ''print' button, and then put your signature.
    • Documents submission
      • - Submit all required documents including the application form with your real signature to the graduate school office on time.

Online Application for Admission
  • How to complete online application
    • 1) Start your on-line application by clicking "New User".
    • 2) Click "registration" in the upper right corner to complete your on-line application after filling out your application form. Then you'll get an application number and buttons for "print" and "scholarship application".
      • ◎ Set your own password first before clicking "registration".
        You may use numbers or letters for your password.
      • ◎ To revise your information, click the button of "registration" again.
    • 3) After completing scholarship application, print application forms for scholarship and admission.(You are allowed to access the web-page for online application only during the designated application period.)
    • 4) Submit the application form with your signature and date after confirming all application data.
  • Instructions for online application
    • 1) Remember your own application number and password to revise your data and to check the admission result.
    • 2) When you want to revise your application form, login again with your application number and password which you set before.
    • 3) [Photo Requirement] You must upload your photo, so you should prepare it as follows.
      • ⓐ The size of the photo should be 3cm(Width) X 4cm(Length).
      • ⓑ The size of the photo file should be under 50 KByte.
      • ⓒ The format of the photo file should be BMP or JPG.
      • ⓓ If your scanned file is not BMP or JPG format, you should change it by using graphic editing tools like Alsee, Photoshop, or ACDSee.
    • 4) You can use only English for on-line application.
    • 5) Notice about data for 'Country of Birth', 'Country of Citizenship', etc.
      • - People's Republic of China = China(中國)
      • - Korean Chinese = Ethnic Koreans whose nationality is 'People's Republic of China' (民族 : 朝鮮)
      • - Republic of China = Taiwan
    • 6) Do not miss the blanks without "*" mark, if you have some information about them. Especially the blanks for passport number and foreign ID number should be filled out, if you have a passport or a foreign ID card.
    • 7) Only one application number is valid for each applicant. According to your email address, the application number will be assigned only one time. If you have two or more application numbers, we'll take only one based on your application documents and automatically delete extra numbers.
    • 8) Applicants are responsible for all inaccurate information and errors in their own applications. They may result in denial of application and dismissal from Inha University. Complete your application documents accurately and sincerely.
Jungseok International Scholarship Application
  • Jungseok International Scholarship Program
    • Full or half tuition fee waived for excellent international students
    • Qualified students are allowed to apply for Jungseok International Scholarship.
      Check requirements first before starting scholarship application.
      (Either G.P.A. above 80 out of 100 in the previous degree program or Korean/English language proficiency test score is required for 'Scholarship Application'.)

  • How to complete scholarship application
    • 1) Complete online application for admission first. After completing it, click the button of "registration"
    • 2) After clicking "registration", you can see the button of "print" and "scholarship application"
    • 3) Click "scholarship application". Then new web-page will open.
    • 4) Check your conditions for 'Jungseok International Scholarship Application'. (Without a red circle in that page you are not allowed to apply for this scholarship.) Click "registration".
    • 5) Confirm the message of "Applied", then click "print" to print the application form for Jungseok International Scholarship.
    • 6) Close the web-page for scholarship application and print your application form for admission.
    • 7) Put your signature and date on both admission and scholarship application forms, and submit them to the graduate school office in person or by postal mail(DHL, Fedex, EMS, etc.).
    Part-time students(Job holders) are not allowed to get a scholarship from Inha University.
    International students of Korean Government Scholarship Program are not allowed to apply for Jungseok International Scholarship(Full/Half), because Korean Government(NIIED) will support their tuitions. Inha University will cover the entrance fee for them.

  • Chinese applicants have to submit certificates of both degree and graduation translated in English and notarized.
  • Applicants in Korea from 21 countries under special control of Ministry of Justice, Korea should submit two certificates of degree.
  • Applicants for doctoral program must submit certificates of both Bachelor and Master's degree program.
  • Degree from Pakistani applicants have to submit the certificate of degree with the confirmation seal of the HEC(Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan.
  • Applicants in the last semester of Bachelor or Master's program must submit the anticipated graduation certificate mentioning the exact date of graduation along with a transcript of all completed semesters. ⇒ The final degree certificate should be submitted before entrance after getting admission.
5 Official transcripts Original
  • Original or notarized certificate in English or Korean
    (Submitting transcripts apostilled or notarized by Korean/foreign consulate(embassy) is strongly recommended)
  • Applicants for doctoral program must submit certificates of both Bachelor and Master's degree program.
  • Transcripts must contain credits and obtained scores(marks) of each subject, GPA or percentage of applicant's total grade, and the cumulative score of all courses or C.G.P.A.(cumulative grade point average).
  • If it is difficult to submit transcripts with C.G.P.A. based on 100 points system or 4.0/4.3/4.5 scales, original transcripts with converted scores from WES(World Education Services, http://www.wes.org) or Foreign Credits(http://www.foreigncredits.com) are accepted for C.G.P.A. calculation. Please submit these transcripts additionally with official transcripts issued by the university. The converted version of transcripts should be based on the course-by-course type.
  • Applicants who have a record of transferring into the university should submit additionally their enrollment and GPA records from their previous collage/university.
  • Applicants achieved a degree from Pakistan have to submit transcripts with the confirmation seal of the HEC(Higher Education Commission) of Pakistan.

  • If it is needed, Graduate School can ask applicants to submit additional documents and further explanation related to admission process.
  • Documents like degree certificates, transcripts, parents' nationality certificate, parents' employment & income certificates must be submitted as original or notarized(attested by notary public).
  • If applicants had been admitted into the third year of Bachelor degree program, they have to submit additionally your enrollment and GPA records from your previous university.
  • If an applicant is a prospective graduate, submit an enrollment certificate or a verification of statement of anticipated degree instead of the certificate of degree. Submit the official certificate of degree and graduation to the graduate school office at least before the date of entrance. If you fail to submit it, your admission will be canceled.
  • The certificate of language proficiency test is usually valid for two years.
  • Check the expiry date of Korean or English language proficiency test certificate before submitting it. The test date should be before the deadline of online application and the original certificate must arrive at the graduate school office until the deadline of document submission.
  • To achieve Jungseok International Scholarship for the first semester, it is strongly recommended that you submit a certificate for Korean/English Language Proficiency(TOPIK, TOEFL(IBT), TOEIC, IELTS). If you have both Korean and English test scores, submit all of them to the graduate school office.
  • Chinese applicants whose parents already retired or do not have a regular job, do not need to submit parents' employment & income certificates.
  • Students of Korean Government Scholarship Program do not need to submit the original bank certificate, but they have to submit the certificate of KGSP.
  • (From May 1, 2013) According to the new regulation of Korean Government, international students from 21 countries must prepare one of three types of documents below about the certificate of (Bachelor or Master's) degree for graduate admission and Korea visa issuance/extension.

  • How to check your application result
      Log-in with your application number and password which you set during the online application.
      You can access this web-page and print certificate of acceptance only for limited period. This certificate cannot be used for applying for a Korean visa.
      The successful applicant will receive a formal certificate of admission within a month for the purpose of getting a Korean visa.
